Hi, I'm Sam. I'm currently a Full-Stack Web Developer based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Over 5 years ago I began working in the digital sector, building websites within the NHS with WordPress. Wanting to learn more and enhance my skill set, I set out to learn how to code. Fast forward a few years and today I'm proficient with multiple languages and frameworks, including PHP, JavaScript, Laravel, React, Next JS and more. I have experience with both front and back-end development and I have taken projects from ideas to deploying them to the web.

When I'm not turning 0 and 1's into websites, I'm often out walking in the Yorkshire Dales, biking, hanging out with friends or tinkering in the garage.

Developed a web application with Laravel and Next JS to ensure the safe distribution of pharmaceuticals. Design and develop front end websites with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP. Consumed third party API's to gather and analyse business data. Contribute and assist with switchover of business ERP. Collaborate with clients to achieve desired website design and functionality.

Built and managed over 150 WordPress websites. Ensured all websites were compliant with NHS accessibility and security standards. Setup and managed cloud web servers with Plesk. Managed DNS configuration. Liaised with clients to implement website changes and content updates.
